Nature Tales Story Hour
Bundle up and head to Hartman Reserve Nature Center for story time! Hartman Naturalists have put together a fun series of story hours for your favorite 3- 5 year-olds.
Join the naturalists for stories, wildlife watching, snacks, crafts, and finger plays! The program is free and open to the public. However, Hartman staff asks that groups larger than four children register for the program by noon the prior day. All children must be accompanied by an adult during the program.
Nature Tales will start promptly at 10:30 a.m. and run about 45 minutes. A freewill donation will be taken to cover the cost of supplies.
Nature Tales is geared towards children ages 3-5, but younger siblings are welcome. Nature Tales is intended to be a time for both children and adults to learn about nature together. Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are encouraged to come to the nature center early with their preschoolers to visit the Toad Abode bathtub, look through the themed discovery boxes of the day and find clues before the program starts.
