Members like Greg Greco, President of the Friends of Hartman Reserve Nature Center, know the value and impact that Hartman Reserve has on children. That is why they help to support the quality educational and recreational programs that Hartman Reserve staff provides for over 20,000 visitors annually. A majority of the visitors are school children on field trips. These children are learning a lesson about responsibility and about the natural resources that belong to us all.

Other programs involve individual youth, adults, and families in such special days as the annual Hartman Reserve Halloween Hikes, Maple Syrup Festival, and Earth Fair. Also available are activities such as snowshoeing, canoeing, fishing, and public programs that focus on the natural history and management of the resources that belong to us all.

Those belonging to the Friends of Hartman Reserve combine responsibility and commitment. The Friends of Hartman Reserve are individuals, families, and organizations committed to their community, their environment, and Hartman Reserve Nature Center. Members of the Friends of Hartman Reserve are leaders.
