The Friends of Hartman Reserve know the value and impact that
Hartman Reserve has on children. That is why they help to support the quality educational and recreational programs that Hartman Reserve staff provides for over 20,000 visitors annually. A majority of the visitors are school children on field trips. These children are learning a lesson about responsibility and about the natural resources that belong to us all.
Other programs involve individual youth, adults, and families in special events such as the annual Halloween Hikes, Under the Harvest Moon, Maple Syrup Festival and Earth Fair. Other popular activities available are snowshoeing, canoeing, fishing, and public programs.
The Friends of Hartman Reserve are leaders, individuals, families, and organizations committed to their community, their environment, and the future of Hartman Reserve Nature Center.
Take one more step... honor your responsibility
and pledge to help Hartman Reserve Nature Center
prepare for the future. The Hartman Endowment Fund will help the Nature Center offer quality educational and recreational programs for years to come.
