Course Information

The 2010 Hartman Eco-Triathlon will be completed as follows:

KAYAK
(Alice Wyth Lake to Hartman Reserve)

The 2010 Hartman Eco-Triathlon will start in George Wyth State Park at Alice Wyth Lake. There will be a short portage between Alice Wyth Lake and the Cedar River, about ¼ of a mile. The portage is a sandy hill and the steepness of the hill depends on the water levels. The majority of the kayaking route will be on the Cedar River, heading down stream to Hartman Reserve.

MOUNTAIN BIKE
(Start and end at the same spot)

Most of the mountain bike course will be over rugged terrain with dirt, mud, various sizes of rocks and logs, gravel, pavement, and other "timber" obstacles.  The route winds through the trails of Hartman Reserve Nature Center and George Wyth State Park.

Mountain bikes with a tire width of one inch or bigger are strongly recommended. Street bikes are not advised, as they may be damaged on the course. If you have questions regarding your bike's suitability for this race, please contact your local bike shop.

TRAIL RUN
(Transition to Hartman Reserve Nature Center)
Runners will be hitting the trails of Hartman Reserve. The course will include dirt trails, gravel road, wood chipped trails, stairs, mud, and pavement. The finish line is just outside of the Hartman Reserve Interpretive Center.
