The Child and Adolescent Division serves all children and youth 0 through 21 years of age in Black Hawk County . Services include health education and prevention of disease through a variety of programs. These include School-Based Health Services, School Nursing for the Waterloo Community School District, Head Start Screening and Education, Child Daycare Resource and Referral, Informing and Care Coordination for Families, Lead Screening, Substance Abuse Education and Screening, Immunization Data Tracking, and Outreach Assistance to Black Hawk County agencies and surrounding counties.
